Recovery, Connection, Exploration
Come together and create a space for women to explore their relationship with nature, self-care, and recovery. You’ll connect with one another, share stories, and learn new skills to support you along your journey.
The Power of Nature
We believe that nature can heal. Our retreat will help you reconnect with your inner strength and guide you through the process of healing. Our goal is to give you the tools and confidence you need to take on personal challenges, while also helping you find peace within yourself and in the world around you.
Invest in Yourself
The Women’s Empowerment Retreat will focus on how trauma affects recovery pathways and confidence. We’ll use the natural environment as a backdrop for discussion and reflection.
This is a chance to give yourself some much-needed self-care while connecting with others who have lived experiences with resilience.
What’s In Store
We’ll discuss concepts of recovery near the doorstep of several National Parks in Canada. Together we’ll explore the outdoors through hiking and forest bathing, practice yoga, and have facilitated workshops by Megan Wright and Margo Talbot.

Margo Talbot
Margo Talbot is an author, speaker, and climber, whose travels have taken her from the High Arctic to Antarctica, and the mountain ranges in between. Megan Wright
Megan Wright has been professionally involved in the behavioral health field for over 14 years, with extensive experience in nonprofit administration, program development and implementation, grant management, and leveraging community resources. Nature and activity are huge components of her recovery pathway, including caving, kayaking, hiking, obstacle-course running, boxing, and weight-lifting. She is the Executive Director of Recovery Beyond, an author for the virtual recovery magazine, The Sober Curator, and an advocate for individuals with substance use disorder at the local, state, and national levels.
