This is a sanctioned Recovery Beyond event. Recovery Beyond offers long-term recovery support to those who suffer from Substance Use Disorder (SUD). SUD is defined as, “the persistent use of drugs despite substantial harm and adverse consequences. Substance use disorders are characterized by an array of mental/emotional, physical, and behavioral problems such as chronic guilt; an inability to reduce or stop consuming the substance(s) despite repeated attempts; driving while intoxicated, and physiological withdrawal symptoms”.
This is an OPEN event – we welcome those in recovery, friends of recovery, or those considering the recovery lifestyle. We do, however, require that all conversations be sensitive to and supportive of early sobriety needs. Failure to comply may result in being asked to leave the activity.
We’ve come together to discuss what it means to be in Recovery, to learn or share life hacks of successful Recovery, and to connect with each other.
