QUICK RUNDOWN:
This is our first ride as a group and in order to make this successful we MUST follow some guidelines. First and foremost we are still under strict Covid orders which means we must all bring our masks and practice social distancing throughout the ride. Face coverings should cover both mouth and nose and are required at every extended stop. Face coverings are also recommended for the entirety of the ride. You are also encouraged to bring any type of hand sanitizer and wipes should you need them.
The route is an easy one to start. It’s flat, straight and has little to no elevation. Being that its our first ride we will find out a lot about our skill levels, pace and endurance. We ask that everyone be patient while we observe and evaluate what will be the best approach moving forward. There will be no restrooms at the beginning of this ride so please make sure you go before you leave! Along the way we will take breaks as needed and stop at restrooms that are available.
Proper rider etiquette and hand signals will be addressed at the briefing and questions will be answered as well. We start together and we finish together. Let’s be safe, let’s be awesome and let’s have some FUN!!!!
