Hike: Snow Lake
July 9, 2022 @ 7:30 am - 1:00 pm PDT
Snow Lake Recovery Hike!
Saturday July 9th 7:30am to 1pm
Length: 7.2 miles, round trip
Elevation Gain: 1800 ft
Highest Point: 4400 ft
Location: Exit 47 on I-90 Snoqualmie Pass
Required Parking Pass: Northwest Forest Pass
Lead: Mark Adams
“Its translucent depths, tucked underneath the uppermost 2,000 feet of Chair Peak, are removed from the highway crossing Snoqualmie Pass by just a short trail with minimal elevation gain. Elitists need not apply — Snow Lake is the most visited lake in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness…and rightly so.”
Directions: From Seattle, drive east on I-90 to exit 52, signed for Snoqualmie Pass West. Turn left (north), crossing under the freeway. Take the second right, traveling 1.3 miles to the end of the road at the Alpental Ski Area parking lot.
