Snoqualmie Tunnel Bike Ride + Picnic
May 21, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm PDT
Saturday May 21, 2022 from 10am to 1pm @ Hyak Trailhead off Exit 54 Snoqualmie Pass
Ride your bike where the trains once tunneled through the mountains! We will explore this historic 2-mile long railroad tunnel at Snoqualmie Pass during a 1 hour biking adventure along a beautiful stretch of the Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail. Then we’ll meet back at the trailhead parking lot for a picnic on the grass! This is a free event where you will need to bring your own bike. Also, the Snoqualmie Tunnel is CHILLY and DARK even on a hot, sunny day. So we recommend bringing a warm layer of clothes and wearing a headlamp. We have a limited number of bikes and headlamps to borrow, so please ask! Email matt@recoverybp.org with questions or gear requests.
